In this way, with a gesture, a glance, a thought, we create ephemeral worlds and destroy them with such bewildering speed that sometimes we don’t even notice.

My paintings reach their physical status by way of working ideas, the symbols chosen, the colors, the compliance of the spaces, transmitting with shapes and calligraphies the search for a pantheistic ideal. There is not one single direction, there are many, and all lead to the same place, to this eternal solution.

I invite the spectators to involve themselves in the work with the will to contemplate and by doing this, by contemplating nakedly, by surveying intently, by enjoying the material, through its shapes, its poetry, its component parts - to receive its message. Entering into a direct and personal conversation with the work itself.

My proposal is a meditation on the purpose of the last notion, on how all material is being transcendedby the ambition that elevates us from the material world to reach the world of ideas.

I work with physical elements and their formulas, like an intuitive alchemist, but I talk to the soul. It’s the eternal return of the gaze as it goes in search of beauty.
